To say it is a technology issue would be assuming we understand what AGI is. We don't, though.

Stating that it is due to our human nature is more interesting.

My PoV is that the difference between AGI and us is about sentience, and what allow it: our bodies. Embodiment Neuroscience pretend that our body shapes our intelligence and behavior, which open up a new way to understand intelligence.

However AGI won't have a fantastic body like our, at least for a long time. This is for me the main difference between AGI and us.
