Two things intrigued me in your article. The first is that you didn't ask yourself why the shop woman used the word dog to talk about her ex. For me its a revealing slip of the tongue. Then, he maybe broke up with her because he didn't want to be considered as a dog?

The other thing is more serious for me. Most people are mistaking love with marriage. True love is a fantastic emotion. But marriage is a only a social contract we usually and badly call love. One (or two) can have both at the same time but it is a hard and difficult path.
