Have you tried split mung beans (the yellow ones)?
They are great with turmeric or curry, freshly ground black pepper, and a lot of olive oil.
Piperine (from black pepper) helps turmeric to pass the brain-blood barrier and get into your brain!
I specify from freshly ground black pepper because already ground black pepper may not contain piperine because it has been extracted to be sold as medicine.
