Science is not a question of truth. Religion is. At least for hard — or true — science.
Science makes mathematical models to approach the cosmos. These models become increasingly complex and probabilistic as science advances. And most top scientists recognize that the more science advances, the more we understand that we know so little.
Maybe one day, we may find a truth, or at least just a new planet to settle?
My main concern with your article is that you rely, like many neuroscientists, on old concept. From my pov, most of these philosophical concept about the brain were born long time ago, and have nothing to do with science. For what I understood for you awareness is like a primal emotion or feeling. But what about consciousness or intelligence, and the link between awareness and consciousness?
