In your article you assume that talking works. Sure, for some people it does, but that's a minority. The only ones for whom it always works are the therapists. Replacing psychologists with chatbots would at best lead to the same result, but a lot cheaper.
What you seem to ignore is that the context is essential in the process. Allowing potential patients to use chatbots at their own discretion will lead to whatever situation you can't even imagine.
