Imho, the system won't collapse. It is too big. It become dystopian. A few (millions of )wealthy people, a small percent of 8 billions of skilled workers living correctly, and the plebeians, like in the Middle-Ages.
As for MacDo, like many other worldwide companies, it has gone too big, fostering an inefficient administration. It is the normal cycle of birth and death of all enterprises that no longer fit with the demand.
