The problem with changing the way children are educated is that all the "high-level people" who are in place will do everything they can to not to change anything about education, regardless of the consequences.

Hopefully, alternative solutions to education are on the rise. The clever students or the students with smart parents will find them, while the standard pathway will slowly degenerate at least for the next generation.
